Hello..

I installed Active Directory on a Win2k Server box and now the machine hangs for about 10 mins while at the 'Preparing Network connections' dialog.

I have it set up as a standalone PDC, i want to do some testing with AD.

Configuration:
When setting up AD it configured my DNS as follows:
Underneath Forward lookup:
nete.com --> with the following entries
(same as parent folder) Start of Authority [1].ntserver.nete.com.,admin.nete.com.

(same as parent folder) Name Server ntserver.nete.com
ntserver Host 192.168.254.100

After i am finally able to login i get errors like this in the event log

Registration of the DNS record '_kpasswd._tcp.nete.com. 600 IN SRV 0 100 464 nttserver.nete.com.' failed with the following error. DNS server unable to interpret format.

have no clue what to do now..please help
