win2k restore getting errror Not Owner.

I think this is a windows permission error. Is there way to see who owns the files I am trying to restore. I.E. nsrls

They are on the backup so Legato has the correct rights to backup the files not restore.

Regards

By default only the account who backed up the files can recover them. If you want to use other users you must grant the necessary "remote access" rights for that client.

Ok got answer from Legato.

Issue was a recent Win2K security patch removed the local administrator user from the backup group and changed the local security policy disabling the restores.

This was not an issue with configuration of Legato Networker.

Error message: Not Owner -- Legato 6.1.3 win2k restore

Hello,

I have the same problem.
I got the message: "recover: Cannot recover '<filename>' - must be owner"

Which W2K security patch is the issue?
And what I have to change to execute recoveries successfull?

Thanks in advance.
