I have a dell poweredge 2600 server with NT4.0 server on it. Can I get rid of the NT4.0 server and make it a 2000 pro workstation. My concern is will win2k pro install on server box with dual PIII processors on it.
-Thanks for your inputs

It should install fine. You could even install win2k prof on a box with 16 cpu's it will not use it but it will still install.

Win2k prof should find your dual processor and use them both. If you have more than 2 processors and want to use them you need to install win2k serv.

should be fine as long as its win2k pro. home edition doesnt support mutiple processors.

Yes, It'll BTW, w2k does not have a home edition (but you probably knew that already)
