Is there a way to setup my workstation to select which Internet gateway/router for specific protocols? I have 2 T-1s and I want to send FTP traffic thru one link, and HTTP thru another. Ideas?

If you have one ethernet card for each T1 on your system, then it's no problem at all. Just go to the Internet Services Manager, and set FTP properties to listen only to one ethernet card IP, while HTTP(s) listens on the other one.

Failing that, I'm not a Win2K pro, (preferring to mess around with Unix), but I think the place you want to look is under Programs->Administrative Tools->Routing and Remote Access. This will open a management console that gives you more control over your network. You should probably check out the help documentation in that section, primarily the parts dealing with Network Address Translation and Packet Filters.

I don't know if this will solve your problem, but I know it should be possible. On a Unix system, this kind of thing is no problem at all ;-)

If that doesn't work, it should be possible to handle it from the gateway/router level, simply by having one router/gateway only forward packets on port 80, while the other forwards packets only on port 21.
