Is it possible to install Win2K Pro on a raid-0 (stripped) drive and boot from that drive? If so, would there be any real performance increace in Windows due to the fast write access?

Sorry, it's late and I've been awake a long time.....as you can see in my above post, I didn't catch a spelling error (or possibly 2 or 3).

Yes, you can install win2k on a raid 0...as for performance gain that is relative to what you are using the machine for...Windows itself will show virtually no increase in speed as most of the os is loaded into ram at boot. if you are using this as a database storage machine, with several people hitting it all the time with data reads then yes you will see a marked improvement, local machine with mp3's,games and what not will show a small improvement over a single drive system.
