Win2k Network 8 servers - Can I add and use 1 win2k3 server? 1

I have a network running win2k I have been approached to cost out installing Sharepoint 2007. my first question is can I run a win2k3 server on win2k network and second will it be able to use the active directory of our DC?

Any info on this would be great

Tons of information on these forums about this. Yes, you can, but you'll need to run the forestprep and adprep from the 2nd CD of the R2 discs on your existing DC first before dcpromo'ing the 2003R2 server into your domain.
