Dear Listers,

I'm a SQL DBA looking for some advice on W2k maintenance.
ie. On a DB server running w2k server, what would be considered an absolute minimum period I should consider btw. server reboots. (This enterprise server receives mthly db maint.) It has running since Dec. 2000

Should fragmentation levels be investigated, and if so, what is the best means of defragmenting? (online or offline)

Can anyone point me to any kb or w/paper on these issues?

TIA

John
