Hello.

I notice certain Win2K computers don't show up in Windows Explorer (when I expland the domain), nor when I'm in Terminal Services Manager and expanding its domain. I'm sure the examples are related.

NetBEUI client is not installed on any machine's network connections.

I've verified they are supposed to be in the domain by going to Control Panel, System. I can also Terminal Service into them without a problem, even though they aren't in the domain list.

Is the server running windows 2000? Are you running ADS? If so you need to add the missing computers into the domain under the users and computers part of ADS simply right click on the users and computers select new and then type in the names of the computers.
;-)

Thanks for your response. It looks like this is a hybrid domain. When I use ADS to connect to it, I get "Cannot connect to the pre-Windows 2000 domain."

File/Print Sharing is enabled; and NetBEUI does run over TCP/IP.

I also notice that when I expand DomainX on my local machine, ServerY doesn't show up, yet when I Terminal Service into ServerY and expand DomainX, it is there (but there are other computers not showing up).

I'm wondering if it's the fact that the non-listed computers, even though they are on the same domain, do not show up because their primary/secondary WINS servers are different from the others.

I'm not sure what associates the domain with a particular WINS server to find the rollcall though.
