Help is needed.
Our lab services grades K - 11.
Windows 2000 professional, NW 5.1, lab is ghosted.
K - 2 run a program that requires 8 bit (256) colors.
9 -11 run a proram that requires 16 bit colors min.
Ideally K - 2 program will self - launch on login (done).
Set-up:
1) Contextless logon was installed & working.
2) Win2000 was then set to auto logon (workstation only) a user call 'student').
3) An icon was added to the desktop to launch Novell logon.
Issues remaining:
1) Contextless logon was automatically disabled and will not reinstall while auto logon is present.
2) After a timeout period the workstation locks. The user must then logon to the workstation. This confuses even our older users who never needed to log on initially (never mind our grade ones).
I hope this is clear enough. I especially hope that someone out there has the ideal answer for us.
Thanks,
MK
