I just installed a new motherboard in to a system I built. The board is a Tyan 230, dual processor, with 256MB RAM. The system continually locks up. When I first log on, no problem. Within a few minutes. FREEZE.. Can someone help me?

Stephen, Did you make sure that all or your hardware that you used to build your system was on the Microsoft Win2k compatabliliy list?

All of it is not on the HCL, however, I've used this hardware configuration numerous times with 2000 Pro. All of the drivers have been written for 2000.

Someone mentioned to me today, that it may be the Onboard DMA for the controller card.
