I have NBU ver 5.0 mp2 on a win2k master/media server with multiple win2k servers and Solaris ver 9 servers. To do a full server recovery after loading the OS and NBU client software, when doing the restore should you also select to overwrite existing files for the system directories? Or should you not overwrite them and then patch it afterwords? I haven't found anywhere in the global or client settings, 'Not to overwrite if the file(s) to be restored are older than what is on the server' to avoid overwriting updated files.
It hasn't happened yet but I want to test it out.
