when we add new storage to Win2k servers, the device is found immediately after Add New Hardware Wizard in Disk management, and can assign a drive letter, but unless the server is rebooted, the new device does not show up in Explorer/My Computer until hours later. How do you force Explorer to see the new drive letter assigned for the new SAN device ?
