I am trying to map a drive on a workstation from a server. Prior to today, I was able to successfully connect to the drive. However, today I ran into problem. So I unmapped the drive hoping to remap it. However, when I right click "My Computer" and click on "Map Network Drive...", I do not get the usual Map Network Drive window that is supposed to pop up, rather nothing happens. Logging in as another user on this workstation, I can map the drive. Any help is appreciated. Thanx!

Your user settings may be different to others. I am not sure what it could be though.

So expermint and test. -----------------

Everybody should use AntiVirus! Are you protected now?

So the "Map Network Drive" is not available in the Right-click Menu at all?

To do it the toughest way possible... Use Win Expl. to browse network. Find desired folder. Select folder in physical right pane and select: File -> Map Network Drive.

If the option is not there then verify LAN properties in {Net & Dial-up Connections}. -md
