I started having a problem with Real Player, which often caused my system to freeze completely. Now, almost every time I play a video file, the system crashes, I get the BSOD, and a message telling me that the system's doing a memory dum. This happens with Real Player, the latest Windows media player, and even Cinematograph, as well as media players embedded in web pages.

Many TIA,

1) Change your virtual memory paging file to at least 600MB.

2) Update your latest video card drivers. as well as utility programs it uses.

It is probably also a good idea to check the codecs. If you have a wrong codec or the codec is not correctly installed the system may crash
