I found some information that suggests that there's a known issue of Win2k corrupting FPT (memo) files. It has to do with the default drive cache setting in Win2k that corrupts the memo file(s). In the interim, you can disable write caching on the Win2k machine. Is anyone else aware of this, or have more information??? Thanks!

Yes this is a "well known" problem. See - 'Possible Data Loss After You Enable the "Write Cache Enabled" Feature' for more information and a possible fix. The have been many discussion threads on the UT ( about this. Note: It does appear to only affect only some IDE/EIDE drives/controllers - SCSI drives seem to have no problems.
