SecuRemote fails to connect... in hunting down the problem, I find that my computer > manage > system tools > device manager > network adapters shows two instances of my LAN NIC and a VPN1 ethernet device adapter. The VPN1 adapter is disabled. I double-click it, get a dialog that has an enable button. Click the button, I get a wizard that tells me Windows failed to enable the device.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the Checkpoint software. I have all the latest Win2k updates... As far as I know, there's nothing bizarre about my installation. Any ideas what causes this and how to remedy it?

Thanks,
Dave
