Hey, I have a new Win2K Server and would like to implement it in our NT4 Domain as a BDC/Logon Server. Is this possible and how do i do it.

Thanks.

There is no Primary and Backup Domain Controller in win2k.
A win2k server acts only as a Domain Controller.

I´ll assume that it will recognize the PDC and fall into it´s role. Microsoft works in mysterious ways, so me guessing logically is nothing to rely on.

you have to upgrade the PDC first to W2K. Once the PDC is running W2K, it is running as PDC emulator and supports NT 4 BDCs. After that, you can upgrade you BDCs one by one to W2K.
