Win2k app hanging

Good day all

I have a win2k worksatation running normal office200 and some banking application
a week ago it started complaining about visual memory..and i kept on increasing it..but it only help for a day and it complains again......not no matter what i try..it just hangs for an hour befor it open application.. i tried scanning it...but found no virus

please advice

If you suspect this happen because of Arcserve then stop Arcserve Services from windows services and check if the still happen ,this is only to isolate the source of the problem if it is from Arcserve or from other applications
