Hi,
I'm running apache on a Windows 2k box, with Mod_ssl
It "had" been working fine on my single static IP router.
I use port forwarding for all 443 calls to an internal IP 198.168.1.103 where apache sits listening to all 443.
I also use proxies, to different machines in my local network. ie. proxipass \machine1 192.168.1.105:8080 and the reverse.

I recently changed the service from 1 ip to 13. Of course, i had to start over, with all new ips. Ugh.

I also had to install new SSL certificates from a qualified SSL company. According to apache ssl_engine log all is well with the certs. The cert is not pointing to a domain name, rather to one of my specific IP's (the first in the series).

(I dont know if all this detail matters)

If I use Firefox 2.0 there are no problems at all. (yay firefox)

If I use any flavor of MS Internet Explorer 6 or 7, I get valid cert, valid date, mismatch between site and cert.

I have tried practically everything.

I've read TOO MANY apache forums, and tried all suggestions to no avail.

If I could only see what MSIE sees as the difference between what the cert shows and what IT sees, perhaps I could solve it...but I have no way of knowing this.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.
