In my office, we're running win2k server.. with about 8 workstations that are running 98.. we also have peachtree accounting software. We have an office here, and we also have an office in New York. We need that office to be able to remotely access peachtree information. In order for them to access peachtree information (if you are unaware of the software) you must be able to connect onto the network and see all the other computers running on the network. i hope this is enough info, thanks in adv.

We are using Peachtree Accounting (v. 6.0 I think?) and here is our configuration:

Windows NT 4.0 File Server with Peachtree Data files on a drive.

Windows 98 Client machines w/ Peachtree Accounting Software, with a drive letter mapped to the NT 4.0, Peachtree Data files.

Windows 2000 Server w/ Terminal Services + Peachtree Accounting Software, w/ drive letter mapped to NT 4.0 Peachtree Data Files.

Works great when our accountant needs access to our Peachtree data..

Hope this helps!
