I have Win2k running Outlook Express. As it stands right now, I am running out of space on my C: drive, and noticed that I had 80 Mb in a file simply called sent, located in both

c:\winnt\profiles\administrator\application data\mozilla\users50\default\ri9t3fl.slt\mail\mail.mc.net
and

c:\winnt\profiles\application data\microsoft\outlook express
However, upon deleting massive amounts of mail, after backing it up on the D drive, I now discover that it has not decreased the size of either of these bulky files. Whats going on here?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have any messages in Outlook Express sent folder? If not rename the files. If your sent folder is as you left it then you may delete the files to recover the 160MB of space. Have fun! -md
