I have 4 NT 4 servers running on our network, and we recently upgraded the PDC to a WIN2K and now to the other server it appears to be the PDC. That part is great. now I have upgraded the another NT 4 to WIN2K and I want to take off the orginal PDC (which is the first WIN2K server and current PDC for other NT 4 servers), how do I upgrade or make the other NT 4 servers see the 2nd WIN2K as the PDC.

The object of this is to have our network run on 2 servers. One NT 4 server running exchange 5.5 (don't want to upgrade that because it has been running so smooth, plus I want to go on vacation this summer hehehe).

Thanks for any help,

Willis

If you haven't already done so, you'll need to promote the second server to a DC, then transfer the PDC emulator role over to it via Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
