im getting the message: "Your current Security settings are prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page as a result the page may not display correctly."

IE ver6
OS: Win2k

trying to run a flash program off of a local server. this issue is only affeccting one of the computers. another machine is runnign this same app without any issues.

I have the same problem with XP Pro. none of the hints given here (as good as they were) fixed my problem. Good luck.

you can change the settings for that under the internet options/aadvanced/security section of ie.

Best bet is to reset all the options on the window that Geosmith mentioned to default.

I have seen this as the result of spyware infections, so you may want to post a Hijack This log or run the latest versions of Ad-aware and Spybot over the computer.
