We started upgrading our NT4 domain to AD. We used the procedure of creating a new NT4 bdc then making it the pdc then upgrading that to 2003. Our original NT4 is still on the lan.

All the workstations (xp and 98) on the lan are authenticating without issues. So far the only bump is our win2003 metaframe server will not allow users to login to the domain 'specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted'

I can logon locally to the metaframe server. I can ping the ad server. However I cannot lslookup the ad server (the primary dns server is pointed to the ad server).

I've gone through some settings on the dns server itself but right now am stumped.

Any hints?

Thanks
