Greetings

Running on W2K and all cards are PNP. Im using a GFTi4200 grafhic card wich, apparently, want to use IRQ 9. Unfortunatley the USB and soundcard want to use that IRQ# too wich makes the quality of the graphics and sound very bad cause it have to wait for eachother. How do I set this up my graphic card gets its own IRQ? (There are plenty left free).

Kindly regards
Claus

Maybe this will help you a little. Go to this page for info on IRQ's in W2K

It is not an OS issue per se. If you can move the PCI devices around in their slots, the IRQs get assigned through BIOS PCI slot assignments more than OS controls.

Thanks!

I had a feeling if would mean a reinstall. I forgot to mention it is AGP and there are only 1 AGP slot avalible in my sysboard, so i dont have the opportunity bcastner mentioned, though im sure it will work.
