Hey all,

I understand that Win2k is emphasized more than before. For those of you who have taken the A+ recently, can you let us know what general topics (concerning Win2) they were drillin' you guys on?

Thanks!
JP

Just curious: If Federal Express and UPS merged....would they be FedUp?

I wrote the exam a couple months ago. Most of the Win2K questions were related to upgrading from WinNT. Actually, I don't remember many direct questions about Win98 or Win2K. It seemed the questions I got were more about WinNT and Win95. I scored 900 on this exam which sort of surprised me considering I've never used WinNT and Win95 is a long and distant memory...

Hi again Access,

Ugh...I'm still in the same boat. I have no exp. with NT systems much less the process to upgrade to 2000. I assume the upgrade process for all Windows OS's are close to being alike. Am I right?

Also, are there any good sites for NT instruction?

Thanks Access for being all over the board for help.

JP

WinNT is roughly similar to Win2K. If memory serves, I just applied my Win2K knowledge to the WinNT questions.

I didn't have a WinNT computer to upgrade to Win2K. I just used what I read about in the Mike Meyer's book. His book gives a good overview of the upgrade process.
