Hi everyone. I have just installed Win 2000 with Win XP running on seperate partition. XP was there before. I know I should've installed 2000 before XP but it is done now. Is there an easy procedure to deal with this. I know if I repair XP installation it will solve the problem, but it takes too long and too much work for just couple of files. What should I do?

Insert the XP Cd and boot from it and hit the first R(epair) option seen to enter Recovery Console.

From Recovery Console:

bootcfg /rebuild

Identify your installations of Windows to rebuuild the boot.ini file.

fixboot

Exit
