In Win98 there was a small applet called WINPOPUP which allowed you to send a text message to another PC (user)on your network.
Can't find it in XP. Is there anything in XP that does the same and can talk to WINPOPUP on a W98 PC??

net send from a command prompt or go into computer management right click on computer management (local), all tasks, send a console message.
