Hi All
I have just installed a number of Win XP Pro Pc’s that are part of an NT4 network and each Pc could have about 20 users.
I am trying to set the default location for saving user file to the home directory on an NT4 server,
I have tried the local registry setting but that doesn’t work.
Has anybody out there go any suggestions?

Thx

There are a couple of ways to do this but I can't think of an automated way off hand. To do it manually you can take the properties of the My Documents folder and type in the location of the home (in the format \\ServerName\ShareName\Folder) and hit ok. You would have to do this for every user's desktop/profile.

Thx for the help
I will make up the instructions for my user but they need a great deal of pampering, as most of them have never used computers before.
If you or anyone else out there could help me with an automated way it would be appreciated.
Thx again
