win xp only allows one VPN connection

Does XP only allow one VPN connection? I configured XP as a VPN server behind a NAT firewall and can get only one incoming connection. I read elsewhere that XP only allows one but that is ridiculous since you can configure how and how many IPs to assign to remote connections. Help!
