Win XP IE 6.0, Unable To Clear History Record 2

G'day,

I tick on the clear history button, restart IE 6.0, Tick the History Button on the Browser, History is still there. Is there a way to fix this?

Try deleting all temporary internet files (delete files button) as well. It might not hurt to change the days that it keeps a history to 1.

There may be an issue with the history index file.
Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder and reboot;(or log on as another user that has Administrator privileges).

The folder can be found here:
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"
