Win XP computers crash when saving MS Office files to Netware Server

We are having a problem with some of our XP computers crashing when attempting to save MS Office files to our Netware 5.5 SP5 server. It only happens with MS Office 2000 files and only with our XP machines.

I guess you mean NetWare 5.1 SP5 (as 5.5 is a Groupwise version).

Try the following at the console (also set in AUTOEXEC.NCF if memory serves):

SET CLIENT FILE CACHING ENABLED = OFF -----------------------------------------------------
