my server running 2k has annoying pop up messages, its running on a cable modem with a extra nic feeding my hub for ip sharing i know with 98/mill i can uninstall win pop in the add remove programs but cant find anything on 2k to stop the madness.

Get a firewall & block ports 135,137 & 139.

I mean block these ports on the internet connection (on the firewall) not internally.
