WIN MODEM PROGRAM

hi all!

im just wondering if anybody knows a "site" for a linux user to be able to download a program to run/setup his/her "winmodem"?

Well first you have to check whether that particular winmodem will work -->

. If it looks hopeful then it may qualify as a 'linmodem', i.e. a winmodem that does nonetheless work with linux. See -->

. I am not aware of any generic easy set-up utilities, however.
