I have 2 issues.
My goal is to allow users to listen to vmails that are in their Outlook inbox as wav files.

Environment
CAG 4.5
PS4 with AAC
Win2003 Server

Problem 1
Some computers will display the error
Windows Media Player cannot play the file becuase there is a problem with your sound device... etc
I have tested this with the same user from 2 different computers and noticed that in the Connection Center the Audio Security is greyed on the computer that is not working.
I am not sure this is the issue? And where do I change this as I appears to be computer specific?

Problem 2
I would like to limit the use of the WMP while in Citrix to only wav files. I have not published the app and hoped to only have it lunched if a user double clicks the wav link via Outlook. I don't want staff to be using WMP for music or Internet radio, etc.

KRPGroup,
Make sure that all of your clients have audio-enabled for their connection (and also make sure you have audio enabled for that app) within Published Neighborhood.

Once you have gotten that squared away...you should be able to modify the security settings on the Media Player via GPO in Active Directory. Just lock down streaming audio and try to narrow down to the specific file extensions.

Hope that helps.

I am having trouble finding the audio setting that is disabling it for the client?

We have only 2 active policies on the Mgt Console for MetaFrame PS4.
1. A std policy that applies to all users
2. A higher priority policy that adds local drive access for senior staff only.

There is only 1 ica-tcp connection on the Ctx Connection configuration.

As far as I can tell it is not a server specific but a client side setting.

I have tested this by forcing a app to be published on 1 server at a time and it works for all server when I am connecting from an outside computer. When I connect with the same user from 2 different computer internally via the web client I get the above audio msg and the Audio settings are greyed out.
I even tried forceing the internal client to go through our external logon via the CAG and still not working.

I can not figure out why this one computer is working. I do know the out side computer has the 9.2x client and the internal have 10.x?

I just not sure where to look
