I'm looking for some thin client suggestions for POS use in a restaurant setting. I've written some POS software in VB that utilizes an Access DB so the client need to run Win CE or XPe.
Not looking to reinvent the wheel and I know there are retail pos hardware like Micros systems and such out there but I'm looking to go for something that meets the following req's:

1. Windows based unit
2. MDAC and Jet support
3. Mid to small footprint
4. No moving parts (flash based unit)
5. $500 - $600 per unit

I've tried demo units for Neoware (Capio One) thus far and to my dismay I've not been able to get my software running on them due to 'provider' issues with database engines and MDAC.
Any suggestions?

I've never laid my hands on one but you might try these folks When I began shopping for a pos system I looked at thin clients but my operation is way to small(1 register and backoffice) to benefit. The information I recieved from Wyse was pretty good. Remember though, this is from someone who couldn't spell pos last week.
