I have a Win 98 machine at home and a XP at the office. The home machine doesn't read the diskettes with the files written by the XP... any clues to fix this?
THANKS A LOT :)

I'm not aware of a way to format a floppy in NTFS format so I believe the problem is either with the disk or your home drive.

Try a different disk (not from the same box as the one you're trying now). I've had entire boxes of disks that were bad.

Test your home floppy drive by using other floppy disks, can you read them?

Are Either one of them a Compaq? TigerFlight [tiger]
Everyone has their two cents worth. Lets all try to donate our two cents and maybe we all can come up with a Dollars worth of advice!!!!!

Thanks for the advice. I'll try other diskettes, but the same happens when I change HDs... No, neither of them is a Compaq. One is a 1.2 Athlon (Win 98) and the other is a 1.8+ Athlon. Both work fine.
Thanks again! :)
