Not a critical question but this is starting to drive me crazy! We have a few windows 98 pcs when turned on, will revert back to our original tcp/ip settings which have been changed for more than a year now. There is no type of go back software or anything like that. I just have to go and put the new numbers back. Anyone had any issue like this???

thanks jen

Are all of your PCs using Static IPs? Are the 98s on a separate NW?

all static ips all on one network - about 400 pcs...it's happened to about 5 or 6 different 98 pcs...can't figure out why these certain ones????

Strange, I guess I would start by removing then restarting then reinstalling the Network settings.
