Win 98 Sound on CPQ 5100 Workstation

A Compaq 5100 Workstation has an embedded sound controller - an ESS 1868. How do I get this to work using Windows 98 (Second Edition)? Using the seven-disk (SP9691) set does not have a W98 driver.
