As this is not supported by MS has anyone experience of a program to test units/devices?
I have a PC based on an MSI 6380-ARU MB with its USB 2.0 bracket. With devices such as an HP scanner, Mic, etc, they work fine on the USB 1 outlets, but either cause Windows to hang or result in error messages such as "device not connected" on USB 2.0.
The Windows Device Mgr reports not problems with the USB functions or the devices when connected to the USB 2.0 (and shows them when hot plugged). The only response I got from HP after many e-mails was "that they had had problems with the MB NEC chip timing"!
