We are about to upgrade to Win2k native mode.
I was wondering how I would (if I have to ) set up the few window 95 and 98 machines we still have on the network that we cannot upgrade. Can we go to native with 95 and 98 machines. Once you do that than the only domain name recognized would be the win2k fully qualified domain name (right?). You cannot add any more than 15 characters into a win95 or 98 machine for a domain name. (So i think?)

You shouldn't have any problem running Win9x with Win2k in native mode. Native mode means all of the domain controllers are Win2k. You can also run WinNT workstations and servers but none of them can be PDCs or BDCs. You might have some trouble with things like profiles but most of your access like printers and shares should work fine.

Hope this helps.
