Micron PC. Replaced on board video with SiS card. Win 2K went crazy- lost everything. Did full re-install. Now the mainboard video will not release to the SiS card and when Win 2k does load it gets to the load screen, goes to BSoD (Blue Screen of Death)and says the video driver did not initialize.

How do I get control to either fix the video driver or uninstall it?

Hi Revbigbird,

You may want to go into the BIOS to see if you can disable onboard video. Give that a shot and see what happens. Good luck!

Some types of onboard video share a portion of the main memory. For this type set the amount of shared memory to none in your bios.

Hi, did you install the AGP-driver for your board?
Did you uninstall the VGA-drivers of your on-board-card?
At some boards, you must hear a click when inserting a new videocard to disable the onboard card.
Pls look into bios to detect the onboard card disabled or not.
Did you assign an IRQ to AGP-Port?
