Win 2k Server Login scripts

Was just after a bit of help writing login scripts, can any one help?

Hi there,

What are you trying to achieve.

Login scripts can be written in a variety of different ways. If your just trying to map network drives etc. You can use plain dos batch.

More complicated scripts can be written in VB script, buts thats a whole different can of worms.

Cheers for your response. I basically want to find out more about what I can get login scripts to do for me. I want to know how to write these whether in notepad or wordpad etc... where I need to save them to.
To start with I just want to be able to use the scripts to connect or map drives. But I would also like to find out about other possibilities with this

you can use just a simple bat file and put net use commands in it to map network drives

you can set the login script in AD users and computers
