Anyone out there know the difference between the Win 2K Upgrade version CD and the Full version CD. To be more specific, can you use the upgrade version to do a clean install on a reformatted hard drive provided you still have the instalation CD of a previous Windows version like 98SE? I have the 2K Upgrade version CD and I realy don't want to install it "over" 98SE.

Yup thats fine. It the Windows 2000 Upgrade version doesn't find an old version of windows on the system it will ask for the original disk.

When you boot from the w2k CD it'll ask whether you want to upgrade or do a fresh install.
