Here is an error message I am getting after our software company we use moved the Documents & Settings folders to the D: drive

Event ID 1517
Windows saved user BOATNRV\ttobin registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.

Event ID 1004
Detection of product '{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}', feature 'AccessUserData', component '{8ADD2C98-C8B7-11D1-9C67-0000F81F1B38}' failed. The resource 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Access\UserData' does not exist.

Any insight would be great.

Move the D&S folder back. In theory you only need to move the root folder and the ttobin folder, but moving that folder is not too sensible. Why did they do it?

The reason is the C partition is only 12 Gigs with only 4 remaining. The D is 280 gigs and we will have an average of 50 users logging into that server.
