When any admins logs onto our print server from rdp, any local printers that exist on the admins local PC get mapped onto the print server. You actually see an icon being created in the printer manager, so for example, if I have 15 printers installed on my local workstation and I RDP to the print server, those 15 printers get added in the server printer manager as some sort of virtual printer , like a mapping. They dont delete when I end the rdp sessions, does anyone know how I can switch this off.

thanks

They should be removed when you log off from your terminal session and admin users will see all printers from every session on the terminal server.

You can turn off printer re-direction either in the terminal services configuration - Properties of the Rdp-tcp connection type - client settings and you can disable it in there.

Or it can be disabled via group policy, I'm not sure of the top of my head where that setting is though.
