win 2003 can not see users from win 2008

i have an AD DS in windows 2008 server and a file server with windows 2003. I can't give the permisions to the folder because the server with win 2003 can see the users from AD.

yes. now it works. I put the computer on workgroup and after that again in domain. I don`t know why the windos made this error. thnaks for the ansswer
