Last year I got my MCP in NT Server after a year working in the field and a few weeks intense study.
I thought I would do the same when 2000 came along but Microsoft threatened a 'new improved exam'
that could not be passed by study crams. I just did a few online tests (Win2K) and they look pretty similar
(i.e. a little 1st hand knowledge and loads of study may get me there).

So my question is; are there any NT MCP/MCSEs out there who have passed the 2000 exams and is
the exam structure greatly different from the NT ones?

The Windows 2000 exams are "supposed" to be structered to where if you do not have good hands on experience that you will not pass. BUT...

With so many "boot camps" out there that cram question scenerios down your mouth that it is possible to cram on your own hard enough to barely pass. AT LEAST YOU WILL PASS.
It never hurts to try. If you fail you are out $100. Then just study more. James Collins

Can I link my computer that run win me with a computer that run win 2000? If yes how do I go about doing this!!

Yes. Without a hub you will need 2 Network cards and a crossover cable. The protocols to use is (I suggest) just NetBEUI. Enable file and print shareing and make sure they are on the same workgroup.

I ahve a FAQ on this (for Win98 but should work with WinME).
It is: faq616-800
