Will Windows Live Mail client run in Windows XP?

That's my question, a friend of mine who is still running Windows XP want to switch to Windows Live Mail for his e-mail client.

I just started using it with Windows 7 and like it, will it run in XP?

Yes, as long as it is XP SP2 or later that is installed.
