Win98 is able to see larger then 10G. You may want to check you motherboard as it may have problems reconizing it. If it is the motherboard check the manufacturer's web site for a flash file to upgrade the BIOS.
Yes....Easily
You have 98 CD ROM?
Wipe disc and partitons with Fdisk...eithe ruse a "98 Startup Floppy" or 98OEM CD ROM
Fdisk and create New Primary Partition....Make it "Active" ....exit Fdisk and Format.....use the Format command from floppy
from A:\>Format C:
If necessary, Delete old partitions, in this order only
1 non-dos
2 logical dos drives in extended part.
3 extended part.
4 primary part.
Basically
Use FAT32, the first screen you see asks "Enable Large Disc Support?"....Select "Y" for Yes...hit enter..then it's a matter of following the prompts

There are a couple of things to consider....
The HDD was partitioned using Disk Overlay software(such as Disk Manager or Patition Magic to enable Large Disc Support thru a BIOS that was incapable then...in which case you'll need that same software or you'll go the the Drive Manu. website for a utility to LLF(low-level format) (Zero fill) the disc first, to wipe out old Master Boot Record...unfortunately the Fdisk /mbr command doesn't work in these situations...it rebuilds the MBR, but disrupts what the BIOS is looking for in order to turn over control to the OS...so it'll never boot.....
And a much rarer thing that may cause problems is if the Drive had been compressed using third-party software.....
An old Mobo could use a BIOS update(if even available, and if so, does the update enable large disc support)and if either of these two conditions are true.
Drive Overlay was used, and if it was, you intend to use it again -and/or- drive was compressed using Third party.
